I. GOD’S SONG DECLARES THAT YOU ARE SEEN
Luke 1:46-48a (CEB) "Mary said, 'With all my heart I glorify the Lord!  In the depths of who I am I rejoice in God my savior. He has looked with favor on the low status of his servant.'"

II. GOD’S SONG DECLARES THAT YOU ARE IMPORTANT 
Luke 1:48b-49 (CEB) "Look! From now on, everyone will consider me highly favored because the mighty one has done great things for me. Holy is his name."

III. GOD’S SONG DECLARES THAT YOUR LIFE MATTERS
Luke 1:50 (CEB) "He shows mercy to everyone, from one generation to the next, who honors him as God."

 DISCUSSION QUESTIONS

1. Can you describe a time when you truly felt seen and understood by another person?  If so, how did that make you feel?
2. Have you experienced God’s love in the form of favor?  What did that look like, and how did it affect your relationship with God?
3. What parts of your life would you hope God would proclaim to the next generation? What might God call you to today that will affect your legacy tomorrow?
