Psalm 23 - What We Really Need to Know
June 26, 2022
Pastor Aaron Sutherland
Living in an increasingly broken world full of violence, division, confusion, and societal upheaval, it's easy to be afraid and despair. But we can trust that God will always go before us, beside us, and behind us in every situation and circumstance.
Psalm 23:1-3
I don’t have to worry about the future because the God who loves me is already there.
God’s word is the lens through which we see God’s path.
Psalm 23:4-5
Psalm 23:6
Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life, and I shall dwell in the house of the Lord forever.
God can take the wounds of your past and transform them into the forgiveness of the present, and the healing for your future.
Though Satan should buffet, though trials should come
Let this blest assurance control
That Christ has regarded my helpless estate
And has shed His own blood for my soul
