Your Story: All are Ministers
Series: Love Theory
Summary
Your Story: All Are Ministers
Pastor Aaron Sutherland
There is only one weapon left that the enemy can come against, one weapon that the enemy is now most afraid of, and THAT WEAPON IS YOU.
ALL ARE MINISTERS: We believe that every person has God-given strengths to be used for God’s good purpose.
I. YOUR STORY IS ANCHORED IN AN INDIVIDUAL CALL
Romans 12:4
For just as each of us has one body with many members, and these members do not all have the same function...
God has gifted you specifically, because God has called you specifically.
II. YOUR STORY IS AMPLIFIED IN THE COMMUNITY OF FAITH
Romans 12:5-6
So in Christ we, though many, form one body, and each member belongs to all the others. We have different gifts, according to the grace given to each of us.
III. YOUR STORY IS SHARED FOR THE COMMON GOOD
Romans 12:7-8
If your gift is prophesying, then prophesy in accordance with your faith; if it is serving, then serve; if it is teaching, then teach; if it is to encourage, then give encouragement; if it is giving, then give generously; if it is to lead, do it diligently; if it is to show mercy, do it cheerfully.
God’s gifts are not for us to keep, they’re for us to give away.
God’s gifts are given to us, to be given through us.
The two most important days in your life are the day you are born and the day you find out why.
Mark Twain
