John 13:35 "By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another.”

I. WE ENCOURAGE ONE ANOTHER WHEN WE CARRY HOPE
Hebrews 10:23 (NIV) "Let us hold unswervingly to the hope we profess, for he who promised is faithful."

II. WE ENCOURAGE ONE ANOTHER WHEN WE MODEL LOVE
Hebrews 10:24 (NIV) "And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds,..."
 

III. WE ENCOURAGE ONE ANOTHER WHEN WE DRAW NEAR
Hebrews 10:25 (NIV) "...not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another—and all the more as you see the Day approaching."

1. Have you ever received an encouraging word that gave you hope when it was failing? If so, what was that like?
2. How has loving encouragement been modeled for you?
3. In what ways have you experienced encouragement through faithfully being a part of a community?
