God is Fighting for You
Series:
Summary
God is Fighting For You
Pastor Savannah Busby
God loves you, He is interceding for you, if He is for you then nothing will be against you.
Half of our internal battle is facing the truth and trusting that God is going to work it out.
Isaiah 30:18
"Yet the Lord longs to be gracious to you; therefore he will rise up to show you compassion. For the Lord is a God of justice. Blessed are all who wait for him!"
Ephesians 6:12
“For our struggle is not against flesh, and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.”
“Worship when you feel wounded. While it will feel counter-intuitive and contrary to our feelings at the time, it creates a space for God to move in our circumstances. There was once a man who lost seven sons, three daughters, and all his property in a single, catastrophic day. His name has become synonymous with pain - Job."
-Kyle Bonenberger
2 Corinthians 10:5
“We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ.”
The other half of our internal battle is believing that God wants to fight for us.
Romans 8:38-39
“For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord."
