Getting into the Game with My Finances

I.  I GET INTO THE GAME WITH MY FINANCES WHEN I DO WHAT JESUS ASKS
John 2:7 “Jesus said to the servants, “'Fill the jars with water,' and they filled them to the brim. Then he told them, 'Now draw some from them and take it to the headwaiter,' and they did."

II. I GET INTO THE GAME WITH MY FINANCES WHEN I SEE WHAT JESUS SEES
John 2:9a "The headwaiter tasted the water that had become wine. He didn’t know where it came from, though the servants who had drawn the water knew."

III. I GET INTO THE GAME WITH MY FINANCES WHEN I EXPERIENCE WHO JESUS IS
John 2:9b-11 "The headwaiter called the groom and said, 'Everyone serves the good wine first. They bring out the second-rate wine only when the guests are drinking freely. You kept the good wine until now.' This was the first miraculous sign that Jesus did in Cana of Galilee. He revealed his glory, and his disciples believed in him."

We are called to take what Jesus has given to us, and give it to others, so they can then see what Jesus has given to them

QUESTIONS FOR FURTHER DISCUSSION

1. When have you done what Jesus asked you to do even though it didn’t make sense to you?  What was the result?
2. Think of some financial miracles you have experienced. What actions postured you to see that take place?

3. How has experiencing God’s miraculous provision given you a greater understanding of who God is?
