Believing Is Seeing
A Deeper Faith For Difficult Days

John 20:24-29 (NKJ)
24Now Thomas, called the Twin, one of the twelve, was not with them
when Jesus came. 25The other disciples therefore said to him, “We
have seen the Lord.” So he said to them, “Unless I see in His hands the
print of the nails, and put my finger into the print of the nails, and put
my hand into His side, I will not believe.” 26And after eight days His
disciples were again inside, and Thomas with them. Jesus came, the
doors being shut, and stood in the midst, and said, “Peace to
you!”
27 Then He said to Thomas, “Reach your finger here, and look at
My hands; and reach your hand here, and put it into My side. Do not
be unbelieving, but believing.” 28And Thomas answered and said to
Him, “My Lord and my God!” 29 Jesus said to him, “Thomas, because
you have seen Me, you have believed. Blessed are those who have not
seen and yet have believed.”

1. A deeper Faith is a CLOSER thing.
For we walk by faith not by sight. -2 Corinthians 5:7 (NKJ)
Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will
fear no evil. -Psalm 23:4 (NKJ)

2. A deeper Faith is a REGARDLESS thing.
If we are thrown into the blazing furnace, the God we serve is able
to deliver us from it, and he will deliver us from Your Majesty’s hand. 18 But even if he does not, we want you to know, Your Majesty, that we will not serve your gods or worship the image of gold you have set up.” -Daniel 3:17-18 (NIV)

3. A deeper Faith is a FUTURE-FORWARD thing.
He is wooing you from the jaws of distress to a spacious place free
from restriction, to the comfort of your table laden with choice
food. -Job 36:16 (NIV)
