The thief enters only to steal, kill, and destroy. I came so that they could have life—indeed, so that they could live life to the fullest.
I. RESPOND IN THE KNOWLEDGE THAT GOD IS SEARCHING FOR YOU
II. RESPOND IN THE KNOWLEDGE THAT GOD IS LABORING FOR YOU
Like the coin we cannot redeem ourselves, so God sends His son as our redeemer.
III. RESPOND IN THE KNOWLEDGE THAT GOD IS WAITING FOR YOU
We are not called to earn God’s love, we are called to accept God’s love.
Our choice to repent can be undermined by our choice to resent.
Our heart is restless until we find rest in Christ.
Discussion Questions:
1. Have you ever experienced a sense that God was searching for you, how did that play out?
2. In what ways have you personally seen God do the work of your redemption?
3. What comes to mind when you think of God waiting for you. How does that knowledge affect how you go to God?
