Parenting Class: Creating Great Connections with your Young Children

This 7-week parenting class taught by CAFA counselors is an interactive series designed to guide parents on their own journey of self-exploration and insight into parenting. The class covers a range of topics designed to build a solid game plan for you to balance the structure and nurture needed for building positive and lasting relationships with your children.

You'll learn a range of skills and knowledge with a high emphasis on social and emotional intelligence, and leave the class with a deeper understanding of yourself as a parent, your children, and enrichment exercises to help you develop your own personal plan for parenting and household management. You'll also learn the best practices in positive parenting which often include the most recent research in brain functioning, child development, and positive relationship building.
