We will be going to the Pavas neighborhood in San Juan, the capital city of Costa Rica. The Pavas neighborhood is one of the poorest and most violent in the country. We are blessed to already have a relationship established with Christ for the City, International (CFCI.) While in Costa Rica, our team will be working with several ministries associated with CFCI. We will be working as a team with the teen program, the children’s program, men’s recovery program and a couple of different women’s programs. There will also likely be some maintenance or light construction projects available as well.
*This trip is open for minors to attend, as long as they have a legal guardian attend on the trip as well.

APPLICATION PROCESS
Please note that by filling out the application, it does not automatically place you on the team. This process includes a background check (to be emailed to you within up-to 5 days after submission of application) and checking the references submitted. Once all steps have been completed and the Leadership Team has given a green light for you to join the team, you'll be contacted by the Global Outreach Leadership Team with further information about meeting dates, balance dues, training, etc.
TRIP COST
Total - $2,080* per person (payment installments available with the following due dates)
- May 21st - Installment #1 of $200 due
- June 18th - Installment #2 of $850 due
- July 16th - Installment #3 of $850 due
- August 15th - Remaining balance of $180 due
Cove Church will be taking care of facilitating all transportation to and from Costa Rica, as well as food and lodging while in Costa Rica itself. Cost of food while traveling, snacks, souvenirs, passports, etc. are to be covered by the individual.
*Final cost may fluctuate up/down due to airfare costs. As soon as adjustments are known, they will be communicated out to applicants/team members.
