This year we will be going back to the Pavas neighborhood in San Jose, the capital city of Costa Rica. The Pavas neighborhood is one of the poorest and most violent in the country. We are blessed to already have a relationship established with Christ for the City International (CFCI), the organization we are partnering with for this trip. While in Costa Rica, our team will be working with several ministries associated with CFCI. We will be working as a team with the teen program, the children’s program, men’s recovery program and a couple of different women’s programs.

• A completed Costa Rica Mission Trip Application (due by May 21st)
• A current Background Check thru Cove Church
• Reference Checks (you provide the references via the application)
• Minors need to have a legal guardian attend with them (if you have questions about your minor attending this trip, feel free to reach out to us!)
• A copy of your current US Passport
• Immunizations for traveling to Costa Rica
• Balance paid in full by August 15th

Can children & students under 18 yrs old attend?

Yes! All children and students under the age of 18 years old are able to apply to go on this mission trip. They must be accompanied by a legal guardian to attend.

What documentation do I need?

You will need a current US Passport (see below for helpful links and tips if you currently don't have a Passport) & updated immunizations (per your doctor's guidance)

What do I need to bring with me?

We'll go over specifics as to what type of clothes and shoes are recommended for this trip the closer we get, but we do encourage you to plan on bringing the following items:

• Food/Snacks while traveling to and from Costa Rica (you'll be covered while in Costa Rica)
• Spending money for souvenirs, food stands, gifts, etc.
