Alpha is a series of interactive conversations exploring the basics of the Christian faith. It is a safe, no-pressure place to ask questions and be heard, regardless of background or personal beliefs. Each Alpha meeting, you’ll enjoy some good food, hear thought-provoking ideas about faith, and have an opportunity to discuss those ideas with others.

How much does it cost?
A: Alpha is free!
When does it start?
A: We have two groups. The first group begins on April 19 and the second begins on April 21
Where is it?
A: One group will meet at the Tap and Growler (207 E 5th Ave, Eugene, OR 97401). We have reserved their community room in the back called the Barrel Room. The second is a residential group meeting in Northeast Eugene (email here for address)
What time?
A: a) Tap and Growler group: 6:30 pm - 8:30 pm, b) Northeast Eugene group: 6-8pm
Can I bring a friend?
A: Yes!
Is there childcare?
A: No
What if I can't be at every session?
A: No problem. While our hope is that you’ll be able to enjoy all of them, we understand life happens. Alpha is designed in such a way that if you miss a session you won’t be lost when you return.
How many weeks does it run?
A: 9 weeks
Is there anything else I should know?
A: No need to bring anything. Food is provided.
How long is each session?
A: About 2 hours. Our facilitators make a point to honor everyone’s time by ending on time.
Do I need to sign up?
A: It is helpful for us to know who is coming so we can plan food and space. You can sign up by clicking the "Register" button below, or just shoot us a quick email here and let us know you’re coming, and to which group!
Are there any other time commitments?
A: Each participant will be invited (not expected) to attend a weekend away to experience a few Alpha sessions in a beautiful, relaxed environment. More info on this during the first few sessions. Date for retreat: May 13-15, Rockaway Beach, OR.
